Fridge 3 weeks

US eggs are washed, so they must stay refrigerated at 40 °F (4 °C) or below; do not leave them out at room temperature. Keep them in their carton on a main shelf, not in the door. Eggs past the date on the carton are best eaten only fully cooked.

How to tell if eggs have gone bad

The times on this page are guideline values for food stored properly. Check how it looks, smells and feels: mold, slime, an off smell or mushy spots mean it goes in the trash. Eat raw meat and fish strictly within these times, and never past a "Use By" date.
